This Asian lettuce wraps recipe is perfect for a healthy appetizer or weeknight meal. Best of all, it all comes together in 20 minutes or less! These easy lettuce wraps are incredibly versatile and you can customize them in so many different ways.
In a small bowl, combine oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, pepper, and chili garlic sauce (optional). Mix together and set aside.
Heat wok or skillet on medium-high heat. Add oil and ground turkey. Cook until ground turkey is brown and the pan is dry from any liquids (drain juices if necessary).
Next, add garlic and onions. Saute for 30 to 60 seconds.
Add in the reserved sauce. Cook until meat is coated with the sauce and the liquids have slightly reduced. Turn off heat.
Lay out the lettuce leaves on a serving dish. Spoon over the meat mixture onto each leaf. Add toppings of your choice. Enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, serve extra hoisin sauce on the side.
